The Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi Tournament 2026 has begun at the University of Jammu, bringing together kabaddi players from several affiliated colleges and university departments across the Jammu region. The annual event is being organised under the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, with teams competing in both men’s and women’s divisions.

Among the participating government degree colleges are GDC Kathua, GDC Udhampur, GDC Doda, GDC Poonch, GDC Reasi, GDC Chenani, GDC Marheen, GDC Ramgarh, GDC Khour, GDC Kunjwani and GDC Hiranagar.
Several professional and technical institutions are also part of the competition. These include Government College of Engineering and Technology Jammu, Model Institute of Engineering and Technology, UIET Kathua and MBS College of Engineering and Technology.
The women’s competition features teams from Government College for Women Parade, GCW Udhampur and GDC Billawar. The Post Graduate Department of the University of Jammu is also competing in the tournament.
Tournament Offers Chance to Earn University Selection
