The Bengaluru Bulls have featured several quality raiders throughout Pro Kabaddi League history. From Ajay Thakur and Rohit Kumar to Bharat Hooda, the franchise has relied on talented attackers across different generations. However, when it comes to the best Bengaluru Bulls raider, Pawan Sehrawat stands clearly above the rest.
Known as the “Hi-Flyer”, Sehrawat became the face of the Bengaluru Bulls and played a key role in delivering the franchise’s first PKL championship. While Pawan is the greatest raider in Bengaluru Bulls history, Pardeep Narwal has the strongest claim to being the No. 1 raider in PKL history.
Pawan Sehrawat: Bengaluru Bulls’ Greatest Raider
Pawan Sehrawat transformed the Bengaluru Bulls during his time with the franchise. His trademark high jumps, quick escapes and fearless attacking style made him one of the most entertaining raiders in the competition.
His biggest achievement came in Season 6 when he led Bengaluru Bulls to their maiden PKL title. Sehrawat produced a spectacular performance in the final against Gujarat Fortune Giants, scoring 22 raid points. His incredible campaign earned him the Most Valuable Player award after he finished the season with 282 raid points.
Sehrawat became even more dominant in Season 7. He scored 346 raid points, finishing at the top of the league’s scoring charts, and recorded 18 Super 10s.
His most remarkable individual performance came against Haryana Steelers in Season 7. Sehrawat scored 39 raid points in a single match, setting the record for the most raid points by a player in one PKL game.
He also won the Green Sleeve award as the league’s Best Raider in three consecutive seasons with Bengaluru Bulls, from Season 6 through Season 8.
Bengaluru Bulls All-Time Raiders
The Bengaluru Bulls all-time raiders list contains several players who made important contributions to the franchise.
Rohit Kumar was one of the team’s most influential early stars and captained the side alongside Sehrawat during their championship-winning campaign. He scored more than 500 points for the Bulls across Seasons 5 to 7.
Ajay Thakur was another important figure, serving as the team’s primary strike raider during the first two seasons. His performances helped establish Bengaluru as a competitive team in the early years of the PKL.
Bharat Hooda later took over as the team’s main raider following Sehrawat’s departure. He enjoyed an excellent Season 9, scoring more than 270 raid points.
Despite these contributions, Sehrawat’s records, championship success and individual awards make him the clear Bengaluru Bulls greatest raider.
Who is the No. 1 Raider?
When the debate expands beyond Bengaluru to the entire Pro Kabaddi League, Pardeep Narwal has the strongest case for the top spot.
The “Dubki King” is the highest raid point scorer in PKL history, with more than 1,800 career raid points. He also holds the single-season record of 369 raid points, achieved for Patna Pirates in Season 5.
Narwal played a central role in Patna Pirates’ historic three consecutive championships in Seasons 3, 4 and 5. His enormous number of Super 10s and Super Raids further strengthens his claim.
So, who is the No. 1 Raider? For Bengaluru Bulls, the answer is Pawan Sehrawat. Across PKL history, Pardeep Narwal takes the top spot, while Sehrawat remains the undisputed greatest raider in Bengaluru Bulls history.
