The Pro Kabaddi League has delivered some unforgettable moments since its launch in 2014. While every season brings excitement, a few finals have reached legendary status because of dramatic finishes, brilliant performances, and unforgettable pressure moments. These matches are still discussed by fans whenever people talk about the best PKL finals in history.

Here are some of the greatest Pro Kabaddi matches ever that continue to live in the memories of kabaddi fans.

Season 8 Final: Dabang Delhi K.C. vs Patna Pirates (37-36)

The Season 8 final is widely regarded as one of the most thrilling kabaddi matches ever played. It was a one-point contest that kept fans nervous until the very last second.

Dabang Delhi K.C. entered the final hoping to finally win their first PKL title, while Patna Pirates wanted a record fourth championship.

The match was filled with intense raids and strong defensive battles. Naveen Kumar played a huge role for Delhi with his calm and smart raiding under pressure. On the other side, Patna’s defense, led by Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh, kept fighting until the end.

In the final moments, Delhi held a narrow one-point lead. Naveen Kumar used his experience perfectly by running down the clock during the last raid to secure a dramatic 37-36 victory.

Season 3 Final: Patna Pirates vs U Mumba (31-28)

This final marked the beginning of the famous Patna Pirates dynasty. At that time, U Mumba were the strongest side in the league and had already reached three straight finals.

However, a young Patna team shocked everyone with fearless kabaddi. Pardeep Narwal showed early signs of becoming a future legend with his attacking style and confidence.

The match was tight from start to finish because both teams had excellent defenses. U Mumba tried to make a late comeback, but Patna stayed calm and secured a 31-28 win.

This victory became historic because it started Patna Pirates’ incredible run of three consecutive PKL titles.

Season 6 Final: Bengaluru Bulls vs Gujarat Fortune Giants (38-33)

If fans want to watch one of the greatest individual performances in kabaddi history, this is the match to revisit.

Bengaluru Bulls struggled in the first half against the powerful defense of Gujarat Fortune Giants. At halftime, Gujarat looked completely in control.

Then came the magic of Pawan Kumar Sehrawat.

Known as the “Hi-Flyer,” Pawan delivered a sensational second-half performance and scored 22 raid points in the final. His fearless raids and famous Lion Jumps completely changed the match.

Bengaluru Bulls came back from behind to win 38-33, making it one of the best PKL finals in history.

Season 12 Final: Dabang Delhi K.C. vs Puneri Paltan (31-28)

The Season 12 final was a tactical battle between two highly disciplined teams.

Puneri Paltan entered the match after a dominant season, while Dabang Delhi enjoyed strong support from their home crowd at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium.

The game featured aggressive tackles, careful raiding, and intense pressure moments. Veteran defender Fazel Atrachali played a key role in keeping Delhi calm during difficult situations.

In the final minutes, Delhi’s defense stepped up at the perfect time and helped the team secure a narrow 31-28 victory.

Why These Finals Are Still Remembered

What makes these matches part of the greatest Pro Kabaddi matches ever is not just the scoreline. These finals had emotion, pressure, and unforgettable superstar performances. Whether it was Pawan Sehrawat’s heroic comeback or Naveen Kumar’s calm finish under pressure, these games showed why PKL remains one of India’s most exciting sports leagues.
