Mahinda College, Galle continued its impressive run in school kabaddi by successfully defending the Southern Province Boys Under-20 title. The team produced another outstanding performance to win the Southern Province Boys Kabaddi Championship, defeating Amarasuriya College, Meepawala in the final and lifting the trophy for the second consecutive year.
Organized by the Southern Province Education Department, the Under-20 Kabaddi Tournament concluded at the Galle District Sports Complex in Dadalla, where Mahinda once again proved why they are among Sri Lanka’s strongest school kabaddi teams.
Mahinda Dominate the Final
The championship match saw Mahinda College face Amarasuriya College in a highly anticipated final. Mahinda controlled the contest with disciplined defending and effective raiding, eventually securing a convincing 37-22 victory.
