India Women Continue Beach Kabaddi Dominance

The India Women’s beach kabaddi team has once again proved why it is one of the most successful teams in international sport. Led by experienced captain Ritu Negi, India secured its sixth consecutive gold medal at the 6th Asian Beach Games in Sanya, China.

The historic achievement extended India’s unbeaten record in the competition since beach kabaddi was introduced at the Asian Beach Games in 2008. The latest India Women beach kabaddi gold medal is another chapter in a remarkable journey of success and consistency.

With strong teamwork, smart tactics, and outstanding leadership, the team completed the tournament without losing a single match.

Perfect Run to the Final

The India Women beach kabaddi team entered the tournament as favorites and quickly showed why they remain the team to beat.

India began its campaign with a strong 44 to 32 victory over Sri Lanka in the group stage. The players displayed excellent balance between attack and defense, setting the tone for the rest of the tournament.

The second group match saw India dominate Syria with a massive 64 to 22 win. The commanding performance ensured a top place finish in the group and qualification for the knockout stage.

In the semifinal, India faced Bangladesh. The team delivered another complete performance and secured a comfortable 50 to 31 victory. The win booked a place in the gold medal match and kept India’s perfect record intact.

Captain Ritu Leads from the Front

Captain Ritu Negi played a crucial role throughout the competition. Her experience and leadership helped the team stay calm during difficult moments and maintain high standards on the sand.

Ritu guided the defensive unit brilliantly and ensured that every player understood their role. Her leadership was especially important in the final when Sri Lanka challenged India in the opening stages of the match.

After the victory, Ritu expressed her pride in the team’s achievement and praised the hard work that went into preparing for the tournament.

The latest India Women beach kabaddi gold medal is another memorable achievement in her successful career.

India Defeat Sri Lanka in the Final

The gold medal match against Sri Lanka was competitive in the first half. Sri Lanka matched India’s intensity and kept the contest close.

At halftime, India held a narrow 20 to 18 lead. However, the defending champions raised their level in the second half.

India’s raiders, including Manisha Kumari, Simran Kamboj, and Nikita Chauhan, produced a series of successful raids. Their efforts helped India pull away from Sri Lanka and take control of the match.

The defending champions eventually secured a convincing 47 to 31 victory and celebrated another India Women beach kabaddi gold medal.

A Legacy of Excellence

The success of India Women beach kabaddi is unmatched at the Asian Beach Games. Six tournaments have been held since the sport was introduced, and India has won gold in every edition.

This incredible record highlights the strength of the program and the dedication of the players and coaches.

While the Indian men’s team settled for a silver medal, the women’s side ensured that India’s golden legacy remained intact.

With six consecutive titles and an unbeaten record, the India Women beach kabaddi team has cemented its place among the greatest teams in international sport. Under Captain Ritu Negi’s leadership, the dynasty continues to grow stronger with every tournament.
