Jaideep Dahiya, the accomplished left-cover defender and captain of the Haryana Steelers, has identified the Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS) in Bellary as the finest athletic facility in the country for kabaddi players. Having steered his franchise through the championship-winning campaigns of Pro Kabaddi League Seasons 11 and 12, Dahiya believes the center offers a level of preparation far superior to traditional training methods. He credited the facility’s specialized atmosphere and comprehensive resources for significantly enhancing his performance during both the off-season and competitive pre-season windows.

The Haryana Steelers star highlighted that the transition from basic village drills to the high-performance environment at IIS is a game-changer for any serious athlete. Dahiya, who is currently utilizing the center for his own injury rehabilitation, noted that the facility is a regular destination for India’s sporting elite, including Olympic icons like Neeraj Chopra. By integrating professional coaching with top-tier medical and dietary support, the institute provides a holistic platform that he believes is currently unmatched within India.

Key advantages offered by the IIS Bellary facility include:

  • World-Class Rehabilitation: Specialized medical support that serves as the gold standard for recovering athletes across all disciplines.
  • Scientific Conditioning: High-performance strength programs specifically tailored to meet the brutal physical demands of professional kabaddi.
  • Elite Nutrition: Professional dietary management designed to optimize recovery and sustain high energy levels during intense training cycles.
  • Focused Infrastructure: An all-encompassing environment that allows athletes to concentrate entirely on mental and physical preparation.

Looking forward to the 2026 Asian Games, Dahiya remains focused on a singular objective: reclaiming the gold medal for his country. He emphasized that the current training camp, which is a joint initiative by the AKFI and Mashal Sports, is crucial for building the mental resilience and physical power needed to dominate on the international stage. As the high-performance camp concludes its week-long session in early April, Dahiya and his fellow probables are leveraging these elite resources to secure their spots on the final national roster for Japan.
