The Kabaddi Champions League has officially approved the renaming of its 10th franchise from Jind Jaguars to Jhajjar Jaguars ahead of Season 2.
The change follows a request from the franchise management to update the team’s regional identity and strengthen its association with the Jhajjar region.
KCL Approves Franchise Name Change
After reviewing the proposal, the KCL League Committee approved the new name with immediate effect.
Jhajjar Jaguars will now be the franchise’s official identity for KCL Season 2 and all future editions.
The revised name will appear across league communications, auction documents, broadcasts, media coverage and promotional material.
Existing Franchise Rights Remain Unchanged
The league has asked franchise owners, strategic partners, media organisations and other stakeholders to update their records and use Jhajjar Jaguars in all future KCL-related communication.
The name change will not affect any of the franchise’s existing rights or obligations, which will remain unchanged.
The rebranding represents a new chapter for the team as it prepares for the second season of the Kabaddi Champions League.
